Extra Income Opportunities
Here are some legitimate opportunities that we've found to earn extra money. We don't currently recommend taking online survey's as a legitimate way to make extra money ... we've tried them and found they were not worth our time and not likely worth yours. We recommend finding extra work with a local company where you live, or you can try these resources for home-based business opportunities.
If you need extra cash in a hurry, driving for Uber or Lyft might be a good opportunity for you. You can drive on your own time and get started within a few days of being accepted. There is a potential to earn bonuses (depending on the companies current offerings). Nate, co-owner of Savvy Savers Academy, has driven for both companies and has provided his referral links. Find out if driving for Uber or Lyft is right for you in this article.
Learn to Be a Bookkeeper is a training program to help you start your own bookkeeping business from home. Read more about home business opportunities in this article.
The Work at Home School provides information and training for learning about different business opportunities. It helps you find, build and growing the right home business for you. (No scams allowed, we checked! And no selling stuff to your friends.)
Recommended Reading
We got our start in the financial world several years ago through the teaching and advice of Dave Ramsey. This book is a foundation to some of the things you will learn through Savvy Savers Academy.
Products complementary to this book:
This is an outstanding book about getting your act together if you can handle a little tough love. Larry tells it like it is and doesn't beat around the bush. It's quite entertaining to read, gives you the extra push that you need and offers solid financial advice.
(Let's face it, sometimes a swift kick in the butt is exactly what we need to get us moving in the right direction!)
Gaining financial freedom has everything to do with your money mindset. Julie has nailed down the beliefs that are limiting you from achieving (or expanding) your financial dreams. I love, love, love this book! I was surprised to find how many limiting beliefs I had been holding onto that affect my actions and therefore the outcome of my goals. This is a must read!
